Sarah Felmingham

Sarah qualified as a dental surgeon in 1999 from Bristol University Dental Hospital. She worked as a general dentist in a practice in Bristol. This was followed by various specialist hospital posts in Bristol and Liverpool where Sarah gained a wide experience in orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, oral medicine, special needs dentistry, restorative and oral and maxillofacial surgery. This vast experience enabled her to gain her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002. She then worked as a specialist in paediatric dentistry in Alder Hey Childrens Hospital in Liverpool and Liverpool University Teaching Hospital.

Sarah started her Orthodontic postgraduate training in 2003 at The Eastman Dental Hospital, The Royal Berkshire Hospital and Slough Wexham Park Hospital. In 2006 she gained her MSc in Orthodontics from UCL and in January 2007 completed her specialist training and her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Sarah is therefore registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council Specialist list.

Sarah has worked as an associate specialist in several specialist practices in Berkshire and West Sussex. She joined Ripley Orthodontics in April 2011 bringing her with her expertise in treating nervous patients and adults requiring more complex treatment using a range of fixed and removable appliance types. She is a registered user of the Incognito lingual orthodontic appliance system of which she has a particular interest and has been accredited to use Temporary Anchorage Devices (TAD’s). Sarah is a member of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) and has previously been involved with committee work with the BDA and the BOS orthodontic specialist group.

Sarah is Mum to Emily who is currently 16 months old and tries to find time to practice yoga and pilates when time permits.

Ioannis Ioannidis

Ioannis Ioannidis graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2003. He moved to the UK where he obtained his MSc in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and MSc in Orthodontics from the Dental School of The University of Manchester. He also gained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and is on the GDC Specialist List for Orthodontics.

He states that giving his patients a reason to smile with confidence is what makes him happy. He always pay attention to every little detail to ensure a very high standard of orthodontic services for his patients and strongly believes that building a good relationship with them is a key for success. He likes to create a perfect smile for younger and older patients using contemporary, forward thinking orthodontics. He focuses on all modern techniques such as Invisalign, lingual orthodontics, self-ligation appliances and use of mini implants and always tries to match the available choices to the needs of his patients.

In his free time he has a passion for photography, and also likes swimming to relax after a tiring day.

Kerry Sayers
Kerry is trained in orthodontics, is a GDC registered dental nurse and has worked at Ripley Orthodontics Practice for nearly six years. Kerry is always polite and helpful to all patients and willing to help all staff members in any way she can. With excellent knowledge in orthodontics and general dentistry she is always ready to assist patients with any queries they may have. In her spare time Kerry enjoys going to the theatre, shopping and curling up with a good book.

Dasha Kuldova
Dasha is a qualified dental nurse and is also the practice implant nurse. Back home in the Czech Republic Dasha is also qualified as a general medical nurse. Dasha is always willing and able to help any member of staff and does so with a smile. Dasha enjoys travelling, she has lived in Ireland and the USA before coming here to the UK. Dasha is married and has two dogs which are her two babies. She enjoys reading and country walks.

Laura Chapman
Laura is the senior Dental receptionist of Ripley Orthondic Practice and has worked here for nearly three years. With her big smile and sunny disposition she gives all a friendly welcome, puts all patients at ease and can answer all questions you may have. In her spare time Laura enjoys trips to the theatre, shopping and fine wine and dining. Laura is currently very busy planning her wedding for next year.

Tricia Galloway
Tricia joined our team of friendly receptionist in February 2010. With her friendly personality and previous experience of dental reception she has fitted in perfectly. Tricia is a family person who loves spending time with her little grandson. She also enjoys gardening, reading and socialising with friends.
